This review is for model 22753X92B , a 22" Murray Walk Behind Mower that is self-propelled with a 3.8 HP single cylinder Tecumseh engine.

I've had it for around 15 years and it has always mowed except for when stale gas was left in. That was cleaned out quickly, and this mower never had a good cleaning or a carb rebuild. Always ran Valvoline SAE 30.

I like the mower, it has provided great service, but the walk behind is a little slow and the engine can be a little underpowered compared to todays engines.

Have had to replace the throttle cable due to folding the handle bar down and it cracking, propel belt, rear wheels, and a broken handlebar bolt. Another user was mowing with it and the air cover popped off due to a tree catching on it:o, so we need another one of those. I seem to remember replacing a gear on the propel drive also.

One thing about the oil drain plug is, that it had a unique slot that allowed you to use a 3/8" drive ratchet extension to loosten it, but it was made of plastic and eventually broke in 2, with the other half still in the engine.

After 15 years, those were just general wear items, which are expected. Murray makes great products for the value.

I have had my LawnBott Evolution for over two trouble free years. LawnBott makes robotic lawnmowers that mow, return to the charger, and go back out to mow all season long without human help.
Not only does it do an excellent job, but it also very popular with the neighbors. Gosh, the stories I have to tell!
LawnBott uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery that is designed to last 4-5 years, the mower itself has a life expectancy of 10 or more years.
